Stimulus Money To Spare Indiana Teacher Jobs
According to this story, Indiana is set to receive its share of $10 billion that the U.S. government has earmarked as an emergency fund to stem the tide in the loss of teacher jobs that we've seen over the last few years. Indiana's slice of the pie will be about $270 million, and, while there is a lot of debate over Governor Daniels stance on this money and how it was appropriated, the fact is that it's coming our way. The important thing now is what we do with it.
